Privacy Policy

Last updated 26 August 2026

This website is a set of articles about dogs. It has no accounts, no login and no upload. There is very little to collect and we collect very little.

What the website collects

Google Analytics, which counts visits and tells us which breed pages people actually read. It sets cookies and records the page requested, roughly where in the world you are, and the browser you use. None of it is tied to a name or an email, because we never ask for either.

What it does not collect

  • No accounts, so no names, emails or passwords.
  • No audio. Nothing on this site records or listens.
  • No payments. The site is free and sells nothing directly.
  • No data sold or handed to advertisers.

The app

The Dog Translator app for iOS and Android is a separate product from this website. What it collects, including any use of the microphone, is described in its store privacy label and in the policy shown inside the app. That policy governs the app; this page covers the website only.

Links out and images

Some breed photos come from Wikimedia Commons and are attributed on the image credits page. Links to the app stores are handled by Apple and Google under their own policies once you leave this site.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.

Changes

If this changes, the date at the top changes with it. There is no mailing list, because we do not have your address.
